Delta State Bursary 2018| Eligibility

All students who wish to apply for the recently announced Delta State Bursary for 2018 must meet the above requirements:

You must be of Delta State Origin ;If you are above 18 years of age, then you must have registered for youNational Identification Number (NIN) with the National Identification Management Commission (NIMC).If you are below 18 years of age, you must submit your  JAMB registration number;You must be  a Registered Full time student only of any Public Tertiary Institutions;NOTE : (Diploma, Masters and PhD Students are not eligible);You must either be  in Second year or above (200 to 500 level) in the Universities orBe in ND II, HND I and HND II in the Polytechnics / Monotechnics;Be in 200 level and above for all Higher Institution.Only approved Public and Private owned schools (University, Polytechnics and College of Educations) are Eligible to apply.Have a CGPA of 2.20 and above in the previous academic year’s examination.

Delta State Scholarship 2018| Eligibility

All students who wish to apply for the recently announced Delta State Scholarship for 2018 must meet the following requirements. Note that Delta state bursary is very different from the Scholarship.

All Applicants must:

Be of Delta State Origin;All applicants MUST have registered with National Identification Management Commission (NIMC);Display intellectual ability and leadership potential;Meet the University’s English language requirements (usually at least 6.5 in IELTS or equivalent TOEFL score valid for current year admission) Oversea/External Scholarship Only;You must currently reside in Nigeria;Proof that you must return and take up permanent residence in Nigeria after completion of the proposed programme of study;Must have a valid Nigerian passport;You must be a Registered full time Student only of any Public and Private Tertiary Institutions.

Applicants are to fill the Fresh Application Form and submit online.Online processing fee of N800 will charged using debit cards.Once the Payment is successful, Login to your profile page to complete your details by providing your Bank details and your Academics details.Download and Print your Online Acknowledgement Card after succesful payment for verification, It is extremely important that you retain your Acknowlegement Card after sending scan copy to: 2017bursary@dsbsb.dl.gov.ngMultiple application will be disqualify. Do you NOT apply more than once.Approved Public and Private Owned Schools (University, Polytechnics and College of Educations) are Eligible to apply.Deadline is 17th March, 2018.

What is the Difference Between Delta State Bursary and Scholarship

Basically, the difference between Delta state Bursary and Scholarship is that the Bursary is for Delta state students studying in Public approved higher institutions while Delta state Bursary is for Delta state indegenes that want to study abroad.

 

How to Get Your Application ID for Students Who Are Re-applying

If you have applied for this scholarship before and you wish to re-apply, you would be required to in put your Application ID.

If you can’t remember this ID all you have to do is go through your email, search for the email you sent to the email address when you previously applied

Your Application ID is on the document you sent to the email address previously.

How Much is Delta State Bursary

As at the last time money was disbursed to Delta state indigenes, 2017 to be precise, the amount disbursed was Nineteen thousand, Five hundred Naira only (19,500).

Is Delta State Bursary For Only First Class Students

Delta state bursary is not for only first class students. As a matter of fact, a CGPA of 2.2 which is obviously Second class lower could afford you the scholarship.
